I restarted the console. It did not change anything. Maybe I did not set up the attribute and objectClass correctly? Any other suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks.

Hey 389 Development Users,

I had a question regarding making a user-defined attribute available when creating a new user in the 389 DS. This is what I attempted to do but it did not work:

1. Create a new attribute

2. Create a new objectClass and add the attribute to that objectClass.

3. Create a new user, but when I click “Add attribute” in the Advanced Properties box, the new attribute is not listed there.

If anyone has suggestions, they would be extremely useful at this time.

Did you restart the console?

Thanks,

Rohit
