There are several APIs included with the product, for C, perl, and
java. The C API include files are in plugins/slapd/slapi/include. The
shared libs are in shared/lib. The documentation is here -
http://www.mozilla.org/directory/csdk-docs/

See the file slapd-yourhost/ns-newpwpolicy.pl for an example of how to
use the perl api.

The java api is in java/ldapjdk.jar - docs -
http://www.mozilla.org/directory/javasdk.html
