I'm seeing a lot of hypothetical and very little specifics.  I'd much
prefer to have corrective action that has a kernel in responding to a
very specific problem situation, and then is abstracted out from that.
 I fear we are starting with an abstraction and then looking for
specific problem situations to shoehorn into that abstract view of how
it should work.
