I asked for hosting of LXDE when it was not yet an official spin. I was
told that it could not be hosted there because of bandwith problems. Now
that it is an official spin and even a very popular one, I assumed that
these problem still stands and got even worse.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will request hosting of the alternate
desktop spins.
