I'm afraid you've misinterpreted my intention here, so let me see if I
can clarify things a bit.

No matter whether or not someone has been deemed poisonous (to use
your term), we should treat them kindly when they choose to leave our
community.  If they've made the decision to leave, let's let it happen
in a graceful manner. Especially as mabassadors, we should always
exercise an overriding level of civility, decorum, ... and dare I say
self restraint?

Instead, I'm reminded of something that happened to me as a kid.  Some
friends and I built a clubhouse in the forest.  After a while, I got
bored and frustrated with being part of their club, and announced my
intention to leave the club and go build my own clubhouse.  As I was
leaving, one of the other boys yelled "You can't leave our club,
because we're kicking you out before you can leave."

In short, I'm not bending over backwards to accommodate poisonous
people -- I'm simply asking everyone (myself included) to show a
little social maturity in handling a delicate situation.
