Thu Feb 9 14:26:47 UTC 2012

In attendance:

Jon Stanley
Rex Dieter
Guillermo Gomez Savino
David Nalley
Robyn Bergeron
Toshio Kuratomi
Jaroslav Reznik
Peter Robinson
Rudi Landmann

Regrets:
Christoph Wickert

Highlights:

* Ticket #130 (Make the Board less of a SPOF): Toshio agreed to write up
process changes, including identifying clear ownership of tasks /
actions, as a proposal to be voted on in the next public IRC board
meeting 2 weeks from now.
* Ticket #131 (Retire torrent seed?): It was agreed that we are more or
less wrapped up with this for now, and we may revisit the issue after F17.
* Ticket #132 (endorsement of http://github.com/fedoraproject): The
board granted https://github.com/fedora-jboss-as permission to use the
Fedora trademark on that website for the purpose of getting JBoss-AS
packaged for Fedora. Rex took the actoin to follow up with the requestor.
* Trademark guidelines: Spot is invited to the next board meeting, via
telephone, to discuss any trademark guideline questions or concerns.
Board members are expected to be familiar with guidelines by time of the
meeting.
* Agreed that in the future, we will address the Q&A portion of the
meeting first, as we run out of time to address community questions or
concerns in that portion of the Board meeting.
* Additionally, John Rose (inode0) has volunteered to once again serve
as election coordinator. Thanks, inode0! :)
