Seems reasonable to me.

If noone is really opposed, let's start thinking about the
infrastructure for this. Shall we have them email the files to me? Or
shall we have an FTP site where they can upload their stuff to? Or
some other configuration?

/me is not techie enough to be sure which solution will be best.
