IANAL but experimental in this context just means that the particular 
claus has not been incorporated in the original license and might change 
in the future.  GPL+ font exception gives a specific set of advantages 
that none of the other licenses seems to have. To be specific if you 
want your license to be not included in proprietary products but not run 
into the otherwise accidental results of embedding GPL fonts in private 
documents this might be a good license.
