Chris Tyler and I recently helped focus the fedora-list so that it's
easier to see what's on topic, and what's off topic. If discussions get
out of hand, any community member can speak up and say, "Let's move this
elsewhere." I offer that only as an example of making a list topical.
The focus of the fedora-ambassadors-list, first and foremost, *must* be
for the benefit of ambassadors, or else Joerg is right, it's not useful.

In my opinion, opening the list does not immediately lead to the list
becoming useless, as long as FAMSCo establishes that focus and all the
Ambassadors here keep things focused. Having said that, I agree that
FAMSCo should decide this after hearing input from the Ambassadors, and
I do not want to dictate any changes here. As far as I'm concerned,
this is merely an option that the community and its leadership should
consider thoughtfully.
