While this discussion needs to happen, I fear we have passed the point
where anything productive is happening. (and it's rapidly becoming a
'thread-o-doom')

Let's give this particular thread at least 24 hours rest, and perhaps
we can rationally discuss the subject again. If we can't we'll close
