reading that again, i have to disagree even more, it is all about
personal choices - decissions by the mentors are done because we trust
them to be able to know what they are doing and that they not jump off
the train 2 month later, when they realize this is hard work. -> The
mentors give their thumbs up to new Ambassadors because they trust them
to get the job done! We are not a company where people are just
exchangeable or just evaluated by numbers or rules - We know about them
personally!

The mentoring process itself is born becaus guidelines/rules no longer
worked to have a good membership process because we had a unbalanced
growth of new Ambassadors with less knowledge about how the Fedora
Project works.

and we could no longer assure the quality of new candidates.

We trust Ambassdars with ressources - and personal trust is nothing that
you can put in guidelines and rulebooks. Same is for new Mentors!
