Hi All,

Thanks for the involvement. We as FAmSCo really appreciate this.

+1. I have been unavailable these days (since last Tuesday) helping my
wife arranging her trip to Manchester. I will be available from
tomorrow if a question might arise and prepare for the following
FAmSCo meeting.

Thanks Tian for his plead for the Chinese bid, but I have not answered
the questions why Chinese would have more difficulty to attend an
event in India; besides the mentioned reasons, it is also simple the
travel costs. For Chinese members we can consider to use train instead
of the more expensive plane options when time/travel allows it.

Joerg, I do believe FUDCon is also to foster the community by
attracting new contributors. A approach of this viewpoint; 'Any user
can be a potential contributor' and users is why we have a 'U' in the
name of FUDCon, else it would have just been 'FeDCon' and aimed at
Developers of Fedora.

At the moment I am starting conversations with Gnome.Asia to get them
involved. No matter which bid gets chosen, fostering the community and
the open source way in APAC has been and will be my main duty. ;-)

regards,

Gerard
