Dear Friends,

I know this is an quite sad thing - but it's true. After many happenings,
and huge amount of work, completing the bid, I would like to announce that
we're decided to withdraw the current bid, in reasons that so many
circumstances are changed - that makes unsure to we could host at Budapest
this time such big event. We don't want to loose, but also I think we
haven't lost anything as we decided to step aside - it's better to not to
risk before something terribly happens. Somebody says it's not a good sign
to loose it again, but we say that we haven't lost anything. It's opposite
- we know how important to learn, and we learn every day a lot. As we grow,
and build our community we always step one at a time, and if I remember
back - we did a lot before, and we have to do afterwards, but not this
time. Yes, I know we have decided to run at second time to host the event
when we held the Fedora Round Table, and also we received an big amount of
support - but that wasn't a wasted time and effort, nor a mistake. But
look, we had begun from zero, and we are first who made an small, but
stable base for Fedora users in central Europe. Also we have gained our own
hosted local portal, that grows every day bigger. Several of our users
directly contributing already, our ambassadors are working continuously -
to build, gain, and keep contacts. So - we haven't given up, just - as we
think - selected the right choice.

We would like to thank you everybody who have supported us, and ensured to
will support us - please don't be disappointed - we are grateful for your
support. Also we would like to congratulate to Paris, FR people - we hope
that you guys make an awesome event. As usually if somebody wants to visit
us at Hungary, we'll welcome you or anybody on any of our upcoming local
events.
