Any one can hold a FUDCon. All you need to do is compete with the other
APAC bids[2] :)

Hiring meaning paying people? Paying them for *what*? Fedora is an open
community. "Friends" is one of our foundations[1]. The community is
built on people getting together voluntarily to work together, have fun
and learn in the process. 


And yes, this doesn't seem urgent at all. Maybe if you added more
details on what this was all about?
