It's my first message in this mailing list, so I will quickly introduce myself.

I'm Marcel from Brazil. I collaborate in the Ambassador/L10n project,
and I'm very intereted in getting skilled at packaging so that I can
also help in the packaging process too in the near future.

Along the last days, a few other ambassadors and I have discussed a
very interesting subject at #Fedora-LATAM. Some people around the
world (developers, ambassadors, users, and so on) wear a blue fedora
in events, and many agreed that it is actually a great way to find
fedora people in events.

Tonight, in the LATAM meeting, we discussed this subject and we ended
up agreeing that it should be taken to a wider public, such as this
mailing list.

Looking for things related to this context in the Fedora Project
[Official] Wiki, we foud the "Code of Conduct" for Ambassadors[1] and
we were all amazed that there was nothing about wearing a blue Fedora
there.

There was even something about wearing a red Fedora, which is commonly
done since lots of Fedora Ambassadors are Red Hat employees. The
purpose of this e-mail is to hear your opinions about the proposal of
making it official.

Just like Red Hat employees wear a Red Hat, Fedora ambassadors would
wear a Blue Fedora. Lots of nice things were discussed about that, but
for now, I think discussing the adoption of a Blue Fedora is enough.

So what do you think?

Best regards,
