It doesn't work either. The output above is created when starting with
*init=/bin/bash
*.

When starting with your given code put into /bin/init_try4.sh I just
get a */bin/init_try4.sh
failed*

I think something is wrong with the rootfs
I am going to wipe that tonight. See what happens. This makes no more sense
to me.
