[fedora-arm] Problems booting a BeagleBoard Xm

Hi

Trying to upgrade our BeagleBoard Xm (Rev c?) so
we can get testing the Java arm bits.

I've built a new 8GB uSD (using versions of DJ's tools, thanks DJ),
and it now boots but doesn't mount the rootfs properly,
it sees the uSD as r/o.

Heres the info on the kernels:

Kernel:
[this is what was in the root fs for omap stuff]

Linux version 2.6.40.3-0.fc15.armv7hl.omap
(builder at trimslice01.ausil.us) (gcc version 4.6.1 20110715 (Red Hat 4.6.
1-3) (GCC) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 17 18:55:49 EDT 2011

[ 4.664947] mmcblk0: mmc0:0001 00000 3.79 GiB (ro)
[ 4.666595] mmcblk0: p1 p2

Latest Kernel:
Linux version 2.6.40.3-2.09.fc15.armv7hl.omap
(mockbuild at cdot-panda-12-1) (gcc version 4.6.1 20110908 (Red Hat 4.6.
1-9) (GCC) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Dec 8 21:25:19 EST 2011

[ 4.783691] mmcblk0: mmc0:e624 SU08G 7.40 GiB (ro)

Neither of the above can mount rootfs as r/w so boot doesn't really work.

This kernel

Linux version 2.6.39-1.fc13.armv7l.omap (mockbuild at cdot-panda-6-3) (gcc
version 4.4.5 20101112 (Red Hat 4.4.5-2) (GCC
) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jun 16 18:23:19 EDT 2011

[ 7.296295] mmcblk0: mmc0:0001 00000 3.79 GiB
[ 7.309661] mmcblk0: detected capacity change from 0 to 4072669184
[ 7.331542] mmcblk0: p1 p2

The above works.

Any ideas on what is wrong ?
Pointers to kernels that have booted a BeagleBoard Xm would be very useful.

Thanks!
