No.  Please read /etc/sysconfig/prelink and PRELINK_FULL_TIME_INTERVAL, only
once per two weeks.

This is again a bug in your backup tool.  I backup by duplicity with:

If you have so specific reasons the prelink is not appropriate for you sure
feel free to disable it.

For example it was found on LiveCD images the slight increase of the image
size is not worth the better runtime performance.
