So perhaps this is a piece of the puzzle that is not stated anywhere, 
that you need your system running LiveSuit to have a serial connection 
to your ARM box.

Just the connection and LiveSuit 'knows' to use it?

I can't figure out this documentation.  It ASSuMEs a lot.
