Hmm, this piqued my interest in this program.  You are correct
that SkyViewer is already provided in Fedora.  I installed it, but
I do not have any data-files to examine how this program works.

Can you provide a link or source where some data-files might be available?

BTW, it appears that this Astronomy group is quite low-activity, perhaps
not very many interested parties?
