xmvn build issue

downloaded the latest mvn from
http://maven.apache.org/docs/3.1.1/release-notes.html

[xxx at localhost hadoop-common]$ mvn -v

but got following error, not sure if that means I have wrong version of
maven. I couldn't find 3.1.1-2

This is possibly related to a bug in Maven which was fixed in rawhide.
Could you try maven-3.1.1-2?
