Actually we used elections systems ones for the release names poll [1].
But not as voting but to get an overview how widespread the feeling to
keep/stop having elections was. For such cases I think it's worth 
having this option (to check sometimes if we don't pee against the
wind ;-) but not as obligation to stick with results.
