现在提供的 LiveCD的确是基于 fedora 了，但最初的确是从 kubuntu 分出去的。我可
以列出几个证据：
1、首先 TDE 最初是不支持 fedora 的，仅提供 Debian/Ubuntu 。
2、TDE 在维基百科的解释：

The Trinity Desktop Environment project, organised and led by Timothy
Pearson, Kubuntu release manager for KDE 3.5,[9] has released Trinity to
pick up where the KDE e.V. left. This fork keeps the KDE 3.5 branch
alive and releases continuing bugs fixes, additional features, and
compatibility with recent hardware. Trinity is packaged for Debian,
Ubuntu, Red Hat and various other distributions.

3、目前还存留的2010年左右的LiveCD发布页：
http://apt.pearsoncomputing.net/cdimages/。

不过我这些年并没有关注过TDE（他们也没有大的举动让我注意到），没想到已经
基于 fedora 了～
