perl module install hanging on getdents64

Just to circle back, the RH folks via bugzilla gave us a simple reproducer
which hangs and they've assigned it to the glibc folks. I am also finding
(as mentioned by someone else previously) that httpd will not start when
using an EC2 32-bit image.  I hope they fix this soon, because without
apache, I'm going to have to hold off adopting Fedora 14 and stick with FC8
for now (the non-32-bit images are only available in large size and
therefore more expensive).
