Process to Create New Cloud Images?

Sigh, I wanted to do this a while ago but know I finally opened a ticket:

I didn't want to try to impose any process from our side and therefore
asked what they think the intended process should look like. That's
because I think pretty much anything works for us as long as we can
get access and set up new images somehow, but since they are doing the
actual work behind the scenes, it should better be up to them to have
it as suits them (and their other SOPs) best.
