In hindsight not having this talk during a public board meeting was
certainly a mistake.  But then I'm still confused why this was taken to a
board meeting at all.  Especially if, as Jon says, everyone he's spoken to
is in agreement with it.  If everyone's in agreement, why not just do it?
It's not like the items listed on the white board need the boards
permission or anything.
