Die Verwendung von Partition Labels ist konfiguriert in der grub.conf,
aber ein initial ram disk image fehlt. Ein gültiger Eintrag in der
grub.conf sähe folgendermaßen aus:

title Fedora Core (2.4.22-1.2174.nptl)
        root (hd0,0)
        kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl ro root=LABEL=/ acpi=on rhgb
        initrd /initrd-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl.img

Natürlich muss der Kernel und die Ramdisk auch in /boot existieren
(default).
