Hallo Frank, hallo Alexander, hallo Liste!
2 Anmerkungen noch:
1. up2date kommt mit einem "platten" Verzeichnis aus, also einfach alle
rpms auf eine CD brennen, CD mounten,
$ echo "dir RPM-CD /mnt/cdrom/" >> /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources
und fertig.
2. Wenn schon ein yum repository, dann richtig :-), nämlich mit yam:
$ apt-cache show yam
Package: yam
Section: System Environment/Base
Installed Size: 40
Maintainer: Dag Wieers <dag at wieers.com>
Version: 0.3-1.1.fc2.dag
Filename: yam-0.3-1.1.fc2.dag.noarch.rpm
Description: Tool to create a local RPM repository from ISO files and
RPM packages
Yam builds a local Apt/Yum RPM repository from local ISO files,
downloaded updates and extra packages from 3rd party repositories.
It can download all updates and extras automatically, creates
the repository structure and meta-data, enables HTTP access to
the repository and creates a directory-structure for PXE/TFTP.
With yam, you can enable your laptop or a local server to provide
updates for the whole network and provide the proper files to
allow installations via the network.
By default it works out of the box with:
Fedora Core 1 and 2
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1 and 3 (WS, ES, AS)
TaoLinux 1
CentOS 2.1 and 3
Red Hat Linux 6.2, 7.3, 8.0 and 9
Die Beschreibung trifft absolut zu! (Nutze es hier auch als Proxy, um
doppelte Downloads zu vermeiden.)
MfG
Christoph
