FC4 x86_64: oom-killer: gfp_mask=0x201d2, order=0

Hi Liste,

ich habe einen Root-Server mit FC4 x86_64 in Betrieb (AMD Opteron(tm)
Processor 146). Die Machine hat 1GB RAM und 2GB Swap. Das System ist auf
einem Software-Raid (ext3), auf jeder Platte 1GB SWAP-Partition
(hda2/hdc2). 

Der Kernel ist 2.6.16-1.2069_FC4 #1 Tue Mar 28 12:19:04 EST 2006 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux.

Nun zu meinem Problem. Der Server arbeitet als Webserver mit PHP/MySQL
(Typo3) und Mailserver (Qmail-Toaster mit clamav & Spamassassin).

Ab und an geht der Server scheinbar auf Überlast, obwohl nicht mehr
Betrieb ist als sonst. Der Swap steigt an und dadurch auch die Load, bis
der Swap scheinbar aufgebraucht ist, dann reagiert er nicht mehr. Auf
der seriellen Konsole wiederholt sich dann im 1-2 Sekunden Takt immer
wieder unten stehende Fehlermeldung.

Der Rechner ist nur noch über einen Hardware-Reset wieder in Gang zu
bekommen. 

Hat jemand einen Tipp für mich wo ich anfangen kann das Problem zu
lösen. Natürlich habe schon gesucht aber noch keinen richtigen Ansatz
gefunden. Wo kann ich ansetzen? Neuen Kernel kompilieren? Evtl.
irgendwelche Parameter ändern?
