the design is cool and I love the look and feel.

In voting I vote for the 1st one as it is simple.

I have some notes too.

Personally I think too much details ruin the art of the design
therefore what about removing Michelangelo's David.
The second one seems too detaily.

As tatica said we have to think of tshirts also.
The number of screens should be 2-3 think of that.
This would be the hard part.
