I think the fact that GNOME 3 is default is very important to us, but 
to users, it probably matters very little. If we're talking about GNOME 
3 in this manner on this website, I think it goes without saying that 
it's the default.

What information useful to the user are you trying to convey by 
pointing out its the default?
