We really need to have an auto-responder that searches for certain 
strings like this...

MySQL 4.x is currently not possible because it is a violation of the 
license to link GPL with LGPL.  That means stuff like PHP cannot link to 
it.  At least that's how I last heard the situation.  I didn't follow it 
  closely enough.
