Ick. I can live with dovecot: it delivers mail to home directories,
works with Maildir and mbox, is only semi-complex to configure, can do
PLAIN/LOGIN auth against system passwords, works well over SSL, and
handles POP3. Cyrus is much more difficult and idiosyncratic; it
wouldn't be my choice for "default" imapd.
