Could you please fix your system's clock?  It is screwing mail sort order.

as root:
setup
    Make sure you chose the right timezone.
rpm -q ntp
    Make sure you have ntp installed
yum install ntp
    Install it if you do not.
service ntpd stop
ntpdate clock.redhat.com
    Sync your clock
service ntpd start
