As Seth said, don't be silly with conspiracy theories. It was a mad rush
before freeze date, and legal at red hat had to handle mysql's
licensing, and the bottom line is, they did fix it. MySQL's licensing
_did_ change

Getting Tom to package it so late in the release cycle might've lead to
breakages for FC3 mysql users, so from a release engineering
perspective, this made all the sense. Wait for FC4 to come out

And yes, I'm also not an @redhat.com
(and all conspiracy theorists should stop whinging over @redhat.com's as
well on list - it gets rather annoying, for both the onlookers and the
@redhat's I'm sure)
