Because if we were really 'close to have an open source JVM. From Sun or IBM. Or
both.' that would contradict Sun what has been repeatedly saying in the past 8
years, or so: they do *not* want to do it. 

Stranger things have happened, but it would be an extremely unlikely move for
Sun.
