Kernel 1626 and 1624 before it don't complete booting on my Opteron x86_64  
system. Kernel 1605 on the other hand (still) works just fine.

With the later kernels the booting process hangs somewhere during rhgb.
It doesn't look like the exact point is reproducable :-(
Nothing out of the ordinary is logged in /var/log/messages.

Does anyone else experience this?
