since you are already inside the redhat fenceline getting sponsership
won't be a burden.. i think you still have to get an account through
the fedora accounts system though.

since jonas was moved in/out of core's development tree.. some of the
review process for submission may not apply.. if jonas is considered
an "orphaned" package according to the rules at:
http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras/OrphanedPackages

If jonas and its deps are not considered orphaned, because jonas was
not part of a previous Core "release", then they will have to go
through the formal package review process outlined in
http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras/NewPackageProcess
