Fedora's intended target audience?

I hope that comment was meant to be funny.

They gave you the solution to this the other day.

Option 1: DO the updates and lose the propriety driver that you installed.
Then complain loudly to the video card maker.

Option 2: DO NOT do the update and keep propriety driver that you installed.
Then complain loudly to the video card maker.

My first linux was Redhat 5.2. It cam with a "Linux for Dummies" book.  ;-)
For as long as I can remember kernel updates and XFree86/Xorg updates 'break'
propriety drivers. Not just Fedora but the other distros too. So if you knew
enough to install them to begin with you SHOULD know enough how not to 'break'
them.

Fedora should go on and not wait for NVidia, ATI, or whoever to provide your
drivers while making the rest of (probably the majority of) Fedora users wait
for the improvements since they are using the official, supported, software.
You hacked your system when you installed the propriety driver. When it breaks
you get to keep the pieces.
