GD now requires X

Ah, same problem on here....

This is related to nx problem. nx falsely provided libX11.so.6, which caused the 
subsequent installation of packages needed by nx.

Rick Stout fixed this problem by nx-1.5.0-10.fc5, so when this version of nx is pushed, 
this problem will be resolved.
