That's system-dependent. You can be case sensitive or not as you see
fit.
However, many systems out there are not case-preserving; you'll find
that addresses are sometimes converted to all-lowercase or
all-uppercase. So the norm nowadays is to be case-insensitive.
And as Chris correctly points out, it's mandatory to accept 'PoStmAster'
in any combination of upper/lower case.
