 Kindly learn to read context. It was a reply to Eric's mail, and this remark 
appears to have been addressed to Eric. This would have been more obvious had 
you actually attributed the quote too :)

 Or should we all start using French, Latin or German which have distinct 
singular and plural pronouns in almost all contexts?
