Even with the commercial drivers, it is damned hard to get working 
correctly.  (The nvidia config script needs a "turn it all on" option.)

I need to see how compiz-fusion handles configuration.  Beryl, you can 
have it loaded and have the window manager set to something non-beryl. 
(Very nice when you need OpenGL for other things.)  I am wondering if that 
is an option in the "new" version.
