Altering the wiki doesn't solve the issue of getting the latest news of
what is happening out there. It will end up taking human hours to get
information out.

I'm not explaining myself correctly or what I'm explaining isn't viewed
as what is needed.

The simplest method is that we try and leverage the technology to reduce
the hour required to look through the wiki and find the information. It
then requires someone to transplant it and put it somewhere and somehow
make it into a news item.

Where are news posts place not including FWN? Where are the new
features put in a concise linked up page? Where can workflow be
organised in the sense of a doc created then authorised before release
not docbook since cvs is used.

It's not meant to restrict people further rather to make things more
organised. It's meant to actually make things easier.

It is a crap load of work without a doubt but I think if
migration/change doesn't happen. It will take a significant amount of
effort to do later. If it ever gets done later. I'm not advocating
doing it in a month or two months just that it gets done before the wiki
gets unwieldy.

I've said my bit and I hope it has been explained sufficiently that
people see a different point of view.

Cheers,

Marc
