is it? ... since when?. .. the last time I tried (around FC5/early
FC6) ... iirc, that time, https doesnt work .. (or was it .. https
doesnt work through https_proxy?? .. ) .. I tried several times and
still couldnt connect to the server .. thus .. lead me to derive the
auto tunneling scripts etc to get around it ..
