It was a one-line fix. The SSL use flag on the socket wasn't being set 
when opened non-blocking.

I'm not the curl maintainer so you'll have to wait until he gets a 
chance to check it out but you'll find a pointer to a srpm in the bug if 
you want to give it a try.
