Debian style net-install ISOs (from FudCON Raleigh)

Please devote some thought and implementation towards recovery,
so that re-starting a net install doesn't waste most of the previous
downloading.  The big advantage of physical media (CDs, DVDs,
USB flash memory devices) is that the bits typically survive
more than one install.
