Ugly broken paths in F7 to F8 upgrade

I am upgrading now from Fedora 7 to Fedora 8, and have discovered that
some packages in Fedora 8 is "earlier" than in my current Fedora 7.

First of all, please, do not offer me the idea to upgrade to the latest
Fedora 9 . I live in some production environment, and for some stability
reasons prefer to switch to Fedora 8 (for the next half-year until it
EOF'ed).

The packages which affect me are:

Fedora 7 Fedora 8

ctapi-cyberjack-3.0.5-1.fc7 ctapi-cyberjack-3.0.4-1.fc8.i386.rpm

ctapi-cyberjack-pcsc-3.0.5-1.fc7 ctapi-cyberjack-pcsc-3.0.4-1.fc8.i386.rpm

dbus-python-0.82.3-1.fc7 dbus-python-0.82.0-2.fc8.i386.rpm

knetworkmanager-0.2.2-3.fc7 knetworkmanager-0.2-0.7.fc8.i386.rpm

libxcb-1.1-1.fc7 libxcb-1.0-4.fc8.i386.rpm

libxcb-devel-1.1-1.fc7 libxcb-devel-1.0-4.fc8.i386.rpm

microcode_ctl-1.17-1.39.fc7 microcode_ctl-1.17-1.38.fc8.i386.rpm

nss-3.12.0.3-0.8.1.fc8 nss-3.11.7-10.fc8.i386.rpm

proftpd-1.3.1-2.fc7 proftpd-1.3.1-1.fc8.i386.rpm

proftpd-ldap-1.3.1-2.fc7 proftpd-ldap-1.3.1-1.fc8.i386.rpm

proftpd-mysql-1.3.1-2.fc7 proftpd-mysql-1.3.1-1.fc8.i386.rpm

proftpd-postgresql-1.3.1-2.fc7 proftpd-postgresql-1.3.1-1.fc8.i386.rpm

rpmlint-0.83-1.fc7 rpmlint-0.82-2.fc8.noarch.rpm

rsync-2.6.9-6.fc7 rsync-2.6.9-5.fc8.i386.rpm

Perhaps there are much more in the repos (which I don't use).

What the current status of such issues? Is it a correct state? IOW, can
I leave things as is (ie. continue to use the correspond F7 packages) or
should install F8 versions manually?

(Note, that I don't use anaconda, since prefer just "yum upgrade" + some
little manual interventions).
