WIth this setup average KDE users wouldn't be able to install/uninstall or
update packages anymore. This is because gnome-packagekit has
a "NotShowIn=KDE;" in their desktop files. I've already bugged this
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=437048) but also wanted to bring
this to a greater audience.

The solutions I'm aware of at the moment are:
1. remove "NotShowIn=KDE;" from the desktop files of gnome-packagekit and also
move /usr/share/gnome/autostart/gnome-pk-update-icon.desktop
to /etc/xdg/autostart
2. remove PackageKit from kde live images and still use pup/pirut
3. use smart instead

Solutions?
