To be fair though,  making a subpackage noarch is slightly different.
One could easily fall into the trap of assuming that the entire build
set will be produced on the one arch, just like an rpmbuild on a local
machine would do, and that the noarch subpackage would match the arch
specific other subpackages.  It is something to watch out for.
